Phil Heyes is the Easystreet Big Band' longest standing vocalist, and is another member of the original "St Helens Music Centre Swing Band" which he joined in the early 1980's.

Phil currently plays second Trombone but has previously played trumpet for the band.

Phil is a big fan of the late great Bobby Darrin and his vocals feature when the band play, Mack The Knife, As Long As Im Singing and A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square.

Phil is announced at gigs as "Easystreet Big Band's King of Cool"

Phil also plays regularly with the Brian Ward Orchestra in Leigh on Mondays.
