Nickname - Cool Hand Luke

Luke Ledger joined the  band in 2009 after helping the band as a deputy player. Luke has siezed the Lead tenor Saxophone stand and made it his own. Luke is a lead tenor player of developing presence, he has a fine tonal quality and is an improvisational soloist of high standing. 

Luke has helped take the saxophone section on to the next level and provides inspiration as to where the Easystreet Big Band band can go and what we can achieve.

Luke has previously lead the Monday Night jazz jam at the Black Bull Pub in St Helens, and is also a member with the merseyside based Funkus Monkus.
