John Ray a quiet man with an unassuming nature.  Then he picks up the tenor sax and it roars, A definite Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hide moment.

John joined the band in 1997 at a period when an injection of new blood was required. Since then John has developed into an arterial part of the success we have had.

John Ray is a saxophone colossus of high quality, a nice bloke  !

John  is also a chartered surveyor, though he rarely talks about that !
